During the unprecedented global COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022, our company played a critical role in supporting healthcare infrastructure by supplying container rooms for domestic shelter hospitals and overseas quarantine cabins. These modular container hospitals were designed to address the urgent need for temporary medical facilities during the crisis, providing a rapid and effective solution to accommodate the surge in patients and ensure the safety of healthcare workers and the public. Beyond their immediate use during the pandemic, these container hospitals were also engineered for long-term functionality, ensuring they could serve communities even after the crisis subsided.
The container hospitals were fully equipped with all necessary functional rooms, including patient wards, intensive care units (ICUs), diagnostic rooms, pharmacies, and staff rest areas. Each unit was outfitted with a complete set of medical equipment, such as oxygen supply systems, ventilators, monitoring devices, and sanitation facilities, ensuring they met the highest standards of medical care. The modular design allowed for quick assembly and customization, enabling the hospitals to be deployed in various locations, from urban centers to remote areas, depending on the needs of the region.
For overseas container quarantine cabins, we provided standalone units that could be used for isolation and observation of individuals exposed to or infected with the virus. These container cabins were designed with privacy and comfort in mind, featuring individual bathrooms, air conditioning, and basic living amenities. The robust steel structure and high-quality insulation ensured durability and adaptability to different climates, making them suitable for use in diverse geographic locations.
Our efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic not only demonstrated the versatility and reliability of container-based solutions but also highlighted our commitment to supporting global health initiatives. The container type modular design is adopted in the container shelter hospital, which is convenient for factory production and rapid construction. The construction speed of this kind of hospital is very fast, taking Changsha shelter Hospital as an example, 48,028 square meters of the project was delivered in only 28 days. After the construction is completed, only external power supply, built-in air conditioning, bed, lighting, tables and chairs can be used, which is very convenient.
These modular hospitals are designed with daily and emergency use in mind and can be quickly transformed into medical treatment facilities. It can be equipped with shelter CT, PCR laboratory, mobile CT and other medical equipment, which can treat asymptomatic patients and mild patients. It follows the principles of rapid centralized treatment and closed-loop process control to ensure environmental safety, biosafety and epidemic prevention.
This type of modular shelter hospital demonstrates how to quickly build a temporary hospital with basic medical functions to respond to public health emergencies in medical emergencies. And they are not only for temporary and emergency using, but also can be long terms service after the COVID.
2022 Qatar World Cup FIFA Fan's container hotel project, with a total of around 10,000 star-rated standard hotel suite rooms, provides a convenient and comfortable living environment for the fans from all over the world to support their favorite teams. They called these container hotel blocks the "FIFA fan's village". And this "village" is also including reception, catering, public restroom and service areas which are all built by container houses. Meanwhile, different areas are consisting of different colors of container house, which are very distinctive.
Because of the modular building system, the contractor only took two months to build all the rooms. CCP provided 3500 rooms as one of the major suppliers of this project.
